Meet Up Tombola & fundraising campaign for Clean River Project e.V.

At our Meet Up 2020 in Monschau we organized a big tombola.

Thanks to numerous well-known sponsors we had many great prizes with us, for which the participants could buy tickets: 1 ticket was available for 5€, 5 tickets cost 20€.

Among the participants a proud 760€ came together, which we Caddyroamers increased to 1200€. We donated this great amount to the Clean River Project e.V., which is committed to clean waters in Germany, cleaning up and educating: 

The Clean River Project e.V. is a non-profit environmental, art and educational project that works for clean rivers and oceans and wants to reduce plastic waste pollution by actively cleaning up the waters and educating people. Through creative staging of the plastic waste collected while paddling, we attract public attention and promote general awareness of the problem. In addition, we give lectures and organize CleanUp Events, where river sections are actively cleaned of plastic waste with the help of volunteers.

On the evening of the first Meet Up day, a lottery was drawn: Many participants won several times, only very few unfortunately went away empty-handed. A big thank you goes to all sponsors who supported our raffle and thus contributed to this donation:
